모아나 대본에 나오는 하파알고 리프라이즈 시퀀스 해설 +28 [5]

As Gramma loses consciousness, Moana looks at the necklace in her hand and backs out of the fale.

탈라 할머니가 의식을 잃자, 모아나는 손에 쥔 목걸이를 한 번 보고는 팔레(집) 밖으로 뒷걸음쳐 나온다.

Moana looks at the night sky, where she sees the constellation of Maui's hook.

모아나가 마우이의 갈고리 별자리가 있는 밤 하늘을 바라본다.

Moana makes up her mind. She fastens the wayfinding necklace around her neck. She's going to go.

모아나는 마음을 단단히 먹는다. 길잡이 목걸이를 목에 건다. 모아나는 떠나려 한다.

As Moana hurries out of the fale, she almost runs into Sina. They stare at each other for an electric second, then Sina hands Moana more supplies and steps aside.

모아나가 팔레를 서둘러 나오려 할때, 시나와 부딪칠 뻔한다. 둘은 서로를 순간 바라보다가, 시나가 모아나에게 짐을 더 챙겨주고는 물러선다.

Moana hurries out of the village, passing the dying banyan tree, its dead leaves under feet.

모아나는 죽어가는 반얀 나무를 지나가면서 서둘러 마을을 떠난다. 죽은 잎들이 밟힌다.

Moana goes to the cavern and picks a canoe. Pua is there, and holds up her oar. Just as he did earlier.

모아나는 동굴에 들어가서 배를 고른다. 푸아도 같이 있다. 낮에 했던 것처럼 모아나의 노를 가져다준다.

Moana launches the boat and blasts through the waterfall into the lagoon.

모아나는 배를 띄우고 폭포를 지나 초호로 나선다.

As she sails out... she looks back at her village... is she really doing this?

모아나가 배를 몰다가 뒤돌아서 마을을 바라본다. 정말 떠나려고 하는 걸까?

She seems the lights in Gramma's fale go out. A sign she has passed.

모아나가 할머니의 팔레에 불이 꺼지는 모습을 본다. 할머니가 돌아가셨다.

Then a glow on the shore streaks toward her in the water.

그때 해변에서 반짝이는 것이 물 속에서 모아나를 향해 다가간다.

As it rockets under the boat, Moana sees it's a spectral manta ray.

모아나는 반짝이는 것이 배 아래로 지나가는 것을 보고는 영적인 쥐가오리임을 알게 된다. 

It streaks toward the ocean, breaching over the reef, illuminating a safe passage out.

가오리는 바다를 향해 나아가다 튀어올라 암초를 넘어서며 모아나에게 안전한 길을 알려 준다.

Determined, Moana pushes towards the reef. A wave swells towards her, but Moana paddles harder.

결심한 듯한 모아나는 암초를 향해 돌진한다. 파도가 모아나를 향해 오고 있지만, 모아나는 노를 더 힘차게 젓는다.

As the wave crashes, Moana blasts over the reef!

파도에 부딪히면서, 모아나는 암초를 넘어간다!

She looks back at her island, which disappears below the horizon.

모아나가 자신의 섬을 뒤돌아본다. 섬은 수평선 너머로 희미해지고 있다.

She looks out at the open ocean. Excited. Nervous. She looks up at the constellation of Maui's hook. Moana clutches her necklace, committed, it's time to get Maui!

모아나는 넓은 바다를 바라본다. 신나면서도 초조해진다. 모아나는 마우이의 갈고리 별자리를 올려다보고는 목걸이를 힘차게 움켜잡는다. 마우이를 찾으러 갈 때다!

On the starry sky, we cross-dissolve to: 

별빛이 가득한 하늘에서...

EXT. Canoe - Dawn - Close on:

Bright sun.

...중천에 뜬 해로 화면이 디졸브 전환된다.

Moana paddles along, repeating her mantra.

모아나는 노를 저으면서 주문을 계속 외운다.

- 대본은 '스크린 영어회화 모아나'에서 가져옴. 대본인 만큼 최종본인 영화와 연출이 다르게 묘사되는 곳들이 있고 그 부분들은 파란색으로 칠해놨는데, 구 스토리 설정 중 하나인 푸아와 함께 항해하는 설정까지 그대로 있음.

- 개인적으로 영화에선 빠져서 정말 아쉬운게 저 시들어가는 나무 옆을 지나치면서 죽은 잎들을 밟고 지나간다는 연출, 별자리를 보고는 목걸이를 쥐는 연출 이 두 개만 있었어도 정말 더 임팩트 있었을거라 생각함
